It started out as a cold and cloudy 19th of November, and car enthusiasts from all walks of life, and someone from as far away as Alaska descend on Hendrick’s Motorsports complex in Concord, NC for a great cause. All to help Shriner’s Children’s Hospital give children a glimmer of happiness during the Christmas season that they otherwise would not be able to enjoy. I’m proud to say, I was there, and it was a tremendous turnout. I do not know what the final car count was, but there were many hundreds of awesome cars and trucks. I was able to meet Ken from CamaroNews.com who made the trek all the way from NJ. Ken it was great to see ya in person, and hope you enjoyed yourself here in North Carolina. Big congrats for my club, 5th Gen Camaros of the Carolinas, for winning the Club Participation Award, and 10 members were able to take home 10 of the “Top 200” trophies, including yours truly, Nancygrl for Midnight Angel. Big thanks to all that attended, it was a super day.
