CamaroNews – We stopped by on a Camaro & GM 1st annual Car Show This past Saturday March 23rd. When we arrived we were greeted with a great coffee and awesome food trucks. The Team at Life’s Good Racing is very energetic about Racing, Fabrication and most of all Camaro’s. They race a multitude of automobiles. Karl Chicca, Owner has a huge passion for racing, building and teaching racing to serious enthusiasts who want to learn the sport. Chris Hovey, Crew Chief & Shop Manager, has over 30 years of experience in all forms of auto racing including open wheel, circle track, sports car, hill climb, and more. The event was to showcase life’s good Racing and have an open house to show what work they do in the shop and on the track. These guys know how to build stuff and fabrication for all models. The event started at 9am, but cars were showing up at 8am and CamaroNews arrived at 7:30 am to catch all the action. The event honestly was a huge success from cars coming from all over the bay area & even Sacramento and Monterey. We took our own tally and it looked like well over 300 cars showed for this awesome event. The event was not only a huge success, but well needed in the car community. Dave Brown, Driver and Professional Coach, is a Silicon Valley Vice President with 20 national road racing championships spanning myriad racing series over a 22 year career in racing.
Chris Hovey, Crew Chief & Shop Manager, has over 30 years of experience in all forms of auto racing including open wheel, circle track, sports car, hill climb, and more, and has amassed over 35 National Championships to his name.
