The 2023 Chevy Camaro will no longer offer several dealer-installed, LPO-level options, CamaroNews can confirm. Many of the affected options were made available to order during the 2022 model year.
Some of the more popular dealer-installed equipment items that have been removed from the 2023 Chevy Camaro options list include the Premium carpeted floor mats with Camaro logo (RPO code VYM), the ZL1 1LE SPEC visible carbon fiber spoiler (RPO code 6ZQ), the dark finish tail lamps (RPO code SCY), and the Performance air intake (RVK). It’s not clear exactly why GM has decided to remove these dealer-installed options from the 2023 Chevy Camaro order book, but the decision may be related to the expected discontinuation of the current sixth-generation Chevy Camaro for the 2024 model year.

As GM Authority covered previously, pricing for the 2023 Chevy Camaro starts at $29,695 for 2LT Coupe models equipped with the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LTG gasoline engine and six-speed manual transmission, an $800 increase compared to equivalent 2022-model-year vehicles. As it turns out, pricing for the 2023 Chevy Camaro has increased across the board, with the pricing increase varying between $800 and $3,700, depending on the trim level selected.
Additionally, the limited availability for the 2023 Chevy Camaro’s Rear Park Assist feature has been resolved. Per previous GM Authority coverage, the constraint was in place since June, but returned to regular availability late last month.
Beyond the long list of equipment no longer offered, the 2023 Chevy Camaro introduces only minor changes compared to the preceding 2022 model year. Updates include the addition of two new exterior paint colors, specifically Radiant Red and Sharkskin Metallic.
Under the hood, the Chevy Camaro is available with four engine options, including the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LTG gasoline engine, the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 LGX gasoline engine, the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 LT1 gasoline engine, and finally, the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine. Under the skin is the GM Alpha platform, while production takes place at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.
