GM Names Mike Trevorrow to Lead Lansing Plants

General Motors recently appointed Mike Trevorrow as the Lansing Regional Plant Manager effective Jan. 1.

He will lead a team of more than 5,000 employees with responsibility for:
· Lansing Grand River, GM’s second-newest U.S. assembly plant and the manufacturing home of the Cadillac CTS and ATS family of vehicles.
· Lansing Delta Township Assembly, GM’s newest plant in North America and the manufacturing home of the Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia and the Buick Enclave.
· As well as the Lansing Regional Stamping Plant and the Logistics Optimization Center.

Trevorrow’s past assignments include various manufacturing and quality leadership positions at Flint Tool and Die, Japan, Marion Metal Center and Fort Wayne Assembly. He has also held positions of increasing scope and leadership responsibility in Mechanical Engineering Body Systems, Die Engineering and Finance. Mike has worked for GM for 29 years.

Most recently, Mike was the executive director of Global Manufacturing Engineering Body Systems, making him responsible for dies, stamping and body shops around the world.

“I am excited to be back in operations,” Trevorrow said. “I’m looking forward to being the plant manager of the Lansing region. Lansing has a great reputation for its employees and high quality products.”

Tony Francavilla will become executive director of General Motors Global Supplier Quality. Prior to his role in Lansing, Tony completed consecutive international assignments as the Plant Director of Ellesmere Port in the United Kingdom, and was the Managing Director and Plant Manager, Gliwice, Poland. Earlier in his career, he was the Plant Manager at Flint Assembly.
