Brief Description:
Hello CamaroNews my name is Gary Narain from Queens NY.My journey started with a 1984 Camaro with hopes of finding and restoring a 69 Camaro. In 2005 I saw a sketch drawing of the concept Camaro, and in 2006 I saw it in person at the NY Auto Show. I was in love with the design and the blend of the retro look. After seeing the transformer movie in 2007 I decided when the Camaro goes into production I will like get one. In 2009 I started shopping around to order the car, but I was getting impatient.

On Nov 7, 2009,a week before my 40th birthday,I walked into my local Chevy dealership to see what the IOM color looked like in person.To my surprise the IOM 2ss that was in the show room was available because someone ordered and had to back out of getting it.. When I walked in, that IOM 2ss had me at first site. Not even sitting in the car I made the Sales Person an offer and got lucky paying under the sticker price. I then called my wife to transfer the down payment, but it was too late that day. The dealer had me in the car at about 7 pm with the down payment to follow on Monday. I left my Durango at the dealer and drove my new Camaro home. When i got home my cousin’s kids were there so i told them say hi to Bumble Bee. They said Bumble Bee is not orange so they nick named it Gary Bee. It’s the best 40th birthday present I got myself.
