Back in December, CamaroNews Shared  that the Shock and Steel package for the Chevrolet Camaro was slated to continue during the 2021 model year. This exterior styling package brings a bit of high-impact flair to the muscle car, thanks to the unique exterior paint colors and contrasting stripes on offer from Chevrolet. Additionally, the Shock and Steel Edition model to include a few more color choices for buyers. Below, we highlight some of the updates customers can expect.

For the 2020 model year, Chevrolet only offered the Shock and Steel package in two exterior paint colors: Shock and Satin Steel. While these colors quite obviously were the namesake of the package, but for 2021, buyers will have the choice to spec their Chevrolet Camaro Shock and Steel Edition muscle car in either black or white, as well.

Just like the previous model, both of the new exterior colors options are offset by a unique strip package, though not in the same way as the 2020 models. That is because customers who option either black or white exterior paint will get stripes finished in both the Shock and Satin Steel colors. It’s a nice looking combination, and one that is necessary for the name to continue working.

Of course the Chevrolet Camaro Shock and Steel Edition doesn’t just come with a fancy bit of paint. The package also includes 20-inch blade design aluminum wheels, Carbon Flash painted mirrors, a body-color rear spoiler, and yellow-painted Brembo 4-piston front calipers. Inside customers are treated to a carbon fiber instrument panel frame, premium carpeted floor, and some trick black sueded knee pads. As depicted in the photos from Chevrolet, buyers can also spec some optional ground effects finished in Carbon Flash Metallic.

Like in the 2020 model year, the 2021 Chevrolet Camaro Shock And Steel Edition is available in both coupe or convertible configuration, and can be had on either 2LT, 3LT, or 2SS models. That package is slated to run customers $3,495, and can be ordered with the RPO code B2E.

The 2021 Chevrolet Camaro can be configured and ordered right now.
