BOOK REVIEW
The Complete Book of Chevrolet Muscle Cars 1955-1974
Written by Steve Natale
We here at Camaro News obviously love Camaros and so do you. Many of us also love the muscle cars built by Chevrolet in the past. The hot SS Impalas, Novas and Chevelles from the sixties and early seventies helped shape what is now Chevrolet’s only muscle car still made today, the venerable Camaro.
The new book by Mike Miller, The Complete Book of Classic Chevrolet Muscle Cars 1955-1974 showcases all the Chevy muscle, broken down by model, with each model year getting a full page or two devoted to it, complete with fantastic pictures, both of restored cars and original factory photos. Also, each year gets a spec sheet detailing the mechanical aspects of that year’s car. The best part for Camaro fans is there are over fifty pages of Camaro information and images to drool over.
Presented in a hardback, 9 ½” by 11” format with 175 pages, it looks great on a coffee table, but is also a great read. The easy to follow, year by year history is both fun and engaging. Any fan of Chevrolet muscle cars will love this book.
Available through Motorbooks, or on Amazon.
