Hello Camaro lovers! I am very excited to be joining the CamaroNews team! My name is Deanna, aka “The Camaro Kitty”, and very simply put, I am a female who loves classic and muscle cars. I am Texas born and Texas raised, and currently spend my time working with kids, making crafts (like blinging t-shirts because a gal has to be girly sometimes!), writing, and being involved in the car scene. I was raised to love sports, the rodeo, and cars by my Dad (who only had girls, so the guy HAD to instill a love for all things into us!). Obviously, I still love these things as an adult, and why not? They are great to love! 🙂 I find my life very fun and enjoyable!
What about my car? I bought my Chevrolet Camaro 2SS/RS in June of 2010. She was dubbed “Cammy” and came home with a 6.2L V8 engine, black interior, Imperial Blue Metallic exterior, a sunroof, and 20″ polished aluminum wheels. And she was BEAUTIFUL! However it didn’t take long for Cammy to start getting her own “new toys”. Additions came in the following forms: ARD Engine and Transmission Tune, Halltech Yellowjacket CAI, BFE catted x-pipe, Magnaflow Competition 5″ Tips, ARD Ported Throttle Body, ADM Race Scoop, Washer Bottle Relocation, BMR Sway Bars, BMR 1″ Drop Springs, 160 degree Thermostat, FIELDGOAL Wiring Harness, Zenith Zenons Interior Blue LED lights, Zenith Zenons LED License Plate Lights, AAC Plasma Fog Lights, Custom Metallic Silver racing stripes, and Watson Custom Paint on Engine Parts. Needless to say an awesome car just became even more awesome, and of course I love her!
With all that being said, the purpose of this blog is going to be for sharing my love of the Camaro car scene. I will be telling you about updates on my Camaro, car show opportunities and events, sightings, anything that comes up that I feel you would like to read about or be interested in!
