This past month my H-Town Camaro Club (HTCC) had it’s monthly club meet. I always enjoy getting together with the club. I’ve made some very good friends who happen to also share in my love of cars…namely my love of Camaros. In fact, the wives of the club are kind of the “Real Housewives of HTCC”…(We even have shirts, so it must be official!) What do we do? Normal car club gatherings: we display our cars in a mini-show in front of our meeting locale, enjoy hanging out, taking care of club business, and eating dinner together.
So I guess this all has made me realize why I wanted to join a car club:
- Meeting new people who share the same interests
- Activities that include the entire family (yes, my husband and I bring our baby, she is 11 months old)
- Getting maintenance tips and technical advice
- Adding to the enjoyment of owning a muscle car
- Keeping informed on muscle car events and activities
- Raise funds for charitable causes
And to sum it up, I just have fun with it! 🙂
