Advanced Automotive Concepts got their start as an online store selling automotive parts, and launched their official website in 2000. In 2007, AAC became the exclusive distributor of Oracle lighting products. And in resent months, Oracle finally opened it’s doors in Houston, Texas; where I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening on January 19th.
Oracle decided to open a location in Houston for mostly the demand of the product by their customers. Until recently, their closest location to Texas was New Orleans. They would have installs every day, and a large portion of their customers that sent lights to them for the installs were from the Houston area. Obviously, Oracle saw a large market for the product and the need for an installation shop in this area.
“Texas, and Houston mainly, has a great number of car clubs and car enthusiasts. Oracle Lighting saw this and hoped that we could better the need of the customer and the growth of the business itself. The work we offer at this retail location is mostly installation. We can install any of our automotive lighting products on any vehicle on the average of one day. The products range from halo lighting, interior and exterior lighting, and custom applications for the Camaro such as the sidemarkers, mirrors, and bowties.” says Melissa Parker of Oracle Lighting Of Houston. “We also offer the customer’s to come to the shop and look around at the products they are potentially interested in purchasing. Unlike a website, you are not sure exactly what you are getting, how it is working, or what you need to install it. This retail location allows the customer to view the products, talk to the technician, and know exactly what they are getting before making a purchase.”
The other great thing about Oracle, is that they back their products by a lifetime warranty for both the product and the installation.
Roughly 100 cars graced the grand opening event, with the vehicles’ owners getting to enjoy each others company as well as tour the facilities and talk with the staff of Oracle. Spectators even got to see several cars that Oracle had already done some installs on prior to the grand opening event. Since arriving in Houston in November, they have worked on a estimated 40 vehicles.
