CamaroNews – If you haven’t been to the annual Sturgis Camaro Rally, you have been missing out. Every year around the end of June Camaro’s descend upon Sturgis South Dakota. It’s well known for the Sturgis Bike rallies and a lot of other events. For the last 7 years the rally has been growing and growing. We wanted you to see the results of the show and show you some pictures of this remarkable event. Below is the breakdown of the event. You don’t want to miss this in 2018, be there!
This year was the best year yet. Everything ran pretty
smooth, they had a new registration system through ProQueue that helped them
check people in and helped with our judging for the show in shine. They had
some really great volunteers on our committee that keep the wheel turning and are always ready to jump in when needed.
They added a new event this year a Slot Tournament in Deadwood SD at the Mineral Palace along with a scavenger hunt through deadwood. They had their highest attendance in the drag racing and autocross events over 300 cars in attendance throughout the 4 day event and a great group of Camaro owners that attended. It looks like total they had 306 cars
registered with the majority of it being 5th gens. States represented were off the top of my head – TX, OK, TN, CO, NY,
CA, SD, MT, ND, WY, ID, MN, IA, WA, OR, NC,WI, IL, NE, KS, UT, IN,MI,PA,GA, OH and then of course Canada.

-Loud American Best of Show went to #365 Jami Igo from Gillette WY -1967

-longest distance award was for 1880 miles from Hudson NY – Brian Ellis

Awesome year for them at the strip. Great car count, packed the stands.
All great comments from participants. They planned for 60 cars to race and surpassed that number – over 80 cars.
