CamaroNews – We all know good things come to the end, this happened today with the 5th Generation Camaro officially stopping production at the Oshawa assembly plant. The Camaro Team was on hand to watch the last Camaro roll down the line. We don’t have a time when it was finally done, but we do know it was built on the morning shift. The Car as you see is a ZL1 and the very last car to be built. We are happy GM decided to make it a ZL1. Al Oppenheiser posted this picture this morning on Facebook, and boy does the car look good. It has been a awesome 7 year run for the 5th generation and we cannot forget how many cars were sold. Our Sources say it’s a total of 623,826 Camaros that were built from start to finish. This car will go down in the history books as a huge success for GM & Team Camaro. We cannot forget the hard work from the men & women from Oshawa, as they have driven their heart and soul into the camaro. Their passion for a quality product showed and we thank them for a job well done. We here at CamaroNews are a little sad, but we were glad to share so many memories with everyone. To a great product and a car that made many friends, thank you Chevrolet!
