As GM moves to retire the Chevy Camaro from its model lineup – at least in its current form – it produced several special editions of the 2024 Chevy Camaro to commemorate the muscle car’s long and exciting history both on the road and on the racetrack.
The Camaro Cave has uncovered another of these special editions, one that is generally unknown to U.S. Camaro fans – the 2024 Chevy Camaro Finish Line Edition, which has been reserved for exclusive release in the Middle East.
The information was provided by a citizen of Kuwait named Mohammad who bought one of the Finish Line Edition vehicles. According to him, a total of seven ZL1 trim level 2024 Chevy Camaro units with the special-edition package were imported to Kuwait, including two painted in Riptide Blue Metallic (RPO code GJV) exterior paint color, one of which he purchased. Riptide Blue is one of four new colors for the Camaro’s final 2024 model year.
The Finish Line edition draws its inspiration from various badges and nameplates used during the Chevy Camaro’s long production run. These include the panther logo that appeared on the 1966 pre-production Camaro, flags, and the script used for the Camaro badge.
The 2024 Chevy Camaro Finish Line Edition features matte vinyl stripes along its sides with a panther emblem included in silhouette in the central stripe. Dual rally stripes along the hood and roof also include the panther logo toward the rear, as shown marked by a circle in the image above.
The hood includes the Camaro Finish Line badge on the driver’s side rally stripe, with Camaro in fancy script and the Finish Line motto in block lettering. The racing flag badge also appears in several places on this Middle East-only 2024 Chevy Camaro, as does a small, fairly plain ZL1 badge.
The car also gets a unique interior treatment. Racing flags with “Finish Line Edition” lettering appear on the passenger-side dash and the floor mats, though according to the vehicle owner, the car also comes with a set of plain floor mats, perhaps to allow buyers to keep the special edition mats in pristine condition.
The Camaro Finish Line is also equipped with door sills emblazoned with the special edition’s racing flag badge.
Pricing for the 2024 Chevy Camaro Finish Line Edition allegedly started at the equivalent of $90,000 if the vehicle was configured with a manual transmission, and $95,000 with an automatic transmission.
As a reminder, limited-edition 2024 Chevy Camaro variants were offered in several other markets besides the Middle East. Japan got the Chevy Camaro SS Final Edition, while the Brazilian market got 125 cars with the SS Collection Series badge along with a unique treatment featuring gloss black paint, gray stripes on the hood and trunk lid, and two-tone wheels.
These vehicles are in addition to the 1,335 units of the limited-run Collector Edition packages of the sixth-generation Camaro produced for sale in North America. The last 2024 Chevy Camaro to be built was a three-pedal ZL1 that rolled off the assembly line in late December 2023.
