CamaroNews – We all know to much these days with release of new vehicle launches, sometimes these events can be boring. This wasn’t the case with the Camaro Six unveil in Belle Isle, Detroit Michigan. Chevrolet hired none other than Dennis Pittsenbarger, you know the guy from the hit show Highway To Sell which was on Discovery this past season. Dennis was only 12 years old when his dad pushed a beat-up 1964 Chevy Bel Air into the backyard and told him he could keep it if he got it to run. Dennis hacked away at it until it turned over… then flipped it for a ’63 Impala 409. He flipped that for a ’68 LeSabre 430 and did it again to get his father’s ’81 El Camino. You not only get his vibe but know within in minutes he is a real car guy. After working at everything from car dealerships to paint shops, Dennis’ booming voice and unparalleled passion for everything automotive helped him become one of the most respected names in the automotive industry. Dennis ran the automotive department of a 17-newspaper conglomerate, hosted three local radio programs and created/hosted SPEED AND RACING TELEVISION (SRTV) broadcast via 45 Comcast television stations throughout the Pacific Northwest. We met Dennis last year at SEMA 2014 and within the 30 minutes of talking with him, he is not only a car guy, he is darn right down to earth and just has a great personality. His passion for cars, people is like no other. We see a bright future and you can bet GM will use him again on any hot product launch.
