CamaroNews – Well we all knew it would happen, REDLINE MOTORSPORTS WORLDS 1ST TWIN TURBO 2016 CAMARO. JUST OFF THE ROLLERS THEIR FIRST ROUND OF THE BETA TWIN TURBO SYSTEM. THEY WILL BE OFFERING THREE VERSIONS OF THE SYSTEMS BASED UPON POWER LEVELS.
While we can imagine most Camaro owners would be more than happy with 700 horses beneath their right pedal, the Florida-based tuner is promising even more upgrades. As a matter of fact, this initial package is just Stage One with two additional packages also in the works.
Even though the new Camaro SS has proven itself to be a true performer, the American automaker has commenced testing on a new ZL1 variant. That model will likely utilize the same 6.2-liter supercharged V8 as the Corvette Z06 and Cadillac CTS-V. In those models, power ranges between 640-650 hp and 630-650 lb-ft of torque and for the new ZL1, figures around those can be expected.
Beyond its more powerful engine, the ZL1 will be distinguished from lesser models thanks to a bold new bodykit, enlarged grilles, air intakes and beefed up brakes.
