We all know by now that the 6th Gen is in the works. This is one of GM’s best kept secrets and they know it has to be even better then the 5th gen. If you think they haven’t designed, tested it and even have test mules around your wrong. GM and chevrolet are very smart this time around as they know the camaro has a recharged enthusiast community since the 5th gen release. Not only will it shave some weight but looks to be going on the ATS chassis which is no secret by now talked about locally on tons of camaro forums. Which way will chevrolet go….. rumor has it that the 6th gen will pay homage to the 2nd gen 1970’s body style and well thats what enthusiasts are screaming for. We think both coupe and convert will be made and with any other launch the coupe will come first. As the time table is laid out we think the 6th gen production will start sometime 4th quarter 2015. This would mean the convert would follow like it has before with other launches, thus coming sometime 2nd quarter 2016.
