Good afternoon, Camaro Comrades, Firebird Friends, and Corvette Cousins –
I hope you’ll share the following link with your friends and family – because it demonstrates how important it is to be paying attention when behind the wheel of a car or truck. (….I believe the demonstration was originally intended for pilots)
How many times have you heard someone who has just been involved in an accident say “I didn’t see him/her/it?” — yet the object/person/animal that was just struck seems to have been so very obvious?
Those of you who have attended Performance Driving Schools – especially Spring Mountain- know that one of the first things taught is “visual scanning” — until now, I don’t know that there was technology that would illustrate just what happens when one looks at one spot for any length of time……..
Go here:

…and watch as the yellow spots seem to ‘disappear’ before your very eyes as you stare at the green dot…….when in reality, they don’t disappear….they’re still there….
Our dear friend Janet Curran (one of our “12 Disciples of which there are 15”) sent this to me with permission to send it on further…..
I hope you’ll share it with your family and friends – because it just may save their lives — your life – or the lives of innocent strangers……..
