Exclusive Look Inside the Camaro Assembly Plant – HotRod

CamaroNews – With this being the week of the annual Woodward Dream Cruise, Chevrolet is going all out to celebrate the Camaro’s 50th birthday. That’s when they invited us to check out the Lansing Grand River Assembly plant and see the shiny 2017 Camaros being born and rolling off the line. We couldn’t wait, and let’s face it; we’re suckers for assembly plants, feeling like kids at an amusement park. We pointed the 2017 Camaro SS 50th Anniversary Special Edition we’d been driving all week west, and headed along interstate 96 towards Lansing. The 455-horse, direct-injected, 6.2L LT1 was eating up the highway mile-markers like Pac-Man on steroids.
